Prevent MacBook Pro Freezes with MacKeeper!
Feeling like your MacBook Pro has become sluggish, and uninstalling unused apps still doesn't help? Then try MacKeeper - a universal application for Mac OS X. MacKeeper is an ideal option for Mac hard drive clean up, as it unites a whole bunch of essential utilities. You can activate all of these utilities with one click. Together, they will scan your hard drive for junk and completely remove those useless files. As a result your MacBook Pro won't freeze anymore!
What makes my Mac freeze?
To begin with, let us share a few quick tips on how to keep your Mac's hard drive clean and avoid freezes.
1. Save all of your large-sized files (music, photos, videos etc) to a CD or upload them to a remote online storage.
2. Don't forget to empty the Trash when you delete useless files or uninstall apps.
3. Regularly remove unused desktop and Dock icons.
However, even these simple actions sometimes cannot help, specifically when you've been using your Mac for quite a long time and got lots of apps that you need. In this case you'll need to clean up your Mac's hard drive at a more advanced level.
1. If you need all of the programs installed on your Mac, you can at least partly remove them, and this won't affect the functioning of most apps. So how can you do this? Most programs on your Mac consist of two parts: one for old Macs and another for new Macs. If you have a new Mac, then you won't need the part for an old Mac, therefore you can delete this part using special utilities (browse software directories to learn more).

2. Your Mac has either a PowerPC or Intel processor. Most apps on your Mac are programmed for both processor types. Roughly speaking, they consist of two parts, and you'll always need only one part for your processor, while another one can be removed.
3. Finally, you can clean up Mac hard drive by deleting cache and log files created by your apps. Over time these files become useless and waste your Mac's disk space. To delete user cache files, go to to the User menu and click "Library", "Caches". Then select all of the files and drag them to the Trash. To delete system cache files, go to to your Mac's menu and click "Library", "Caches". Then select all of the files and drag them to the Trash.
