Why do I need this upgrade?

1. We are working hard to change the industry!

This update is more than just a few small changes and has been our total focus for nearly a year. We employed 107 developers that have been working 269 days and spent an estimated 230,264 hours for this release. We have worked hard and have listened to your suggestions to improve MacKeeper. We have analyzed thousands of emails with feature requests, bug reports and even complaints to ensure that we make MacKeeper 2012 the best and most valuable bundle of applications available.

Why did we do this? Because we care about our products and people who use them.

2. Contribute to research and further development

We want to change this industry and continue making applications that stand out from the rest. MacKeeper is the most powerful bundle of system tools available and now we want to be an industry leader in all spheres. We are investing serious time and resources on key focus groups and UI (User Interface) testing to ensure we can provide all users with the easiest UI. Our research and development has targeted groups such as: professional photographers (we have developed raw photos support in our Files Recovery plugin for them), repair tech centers (creating features for their needs), Mac tech geeks (implementing crazy and valuable extra features). This all requires major investment and your move to update to MacKeeper 2012 will contribute to our further research and development.

3. MacKeeper will be fully supported!

If you don't want to upgrade to the new version with the updated functions and features, we respect your decision. We will continue to fully support the old version of MacKeeper and fix all bugs if any should appear. We will also continue to provide access to the old MacKeeper installer and user manual.
